Great Lakes Watercross is headed to Traxler Park in Janesville, Wisconsin, for an action-packed weekend of racing on the Rock River! We are proud to partner with the Rock Aqua Jays, the most decorated water ski show team in history, to bring you a world-class experience at RAJ Stadium.
This weekend promises double the excitement, as Janesville will also be hosting a national ski show during the same dates. Between the high-speed watercross heats and the precision of national-level ski performances, fans will have a front-row seat to the best water sports in the country. With the stadium’s expansive seating, local food vendors, and the vibrant atmosphere of Traxler Park, this is set to be one of the premier stops of the 2026 series.
While you're in town for the races, take some time to explore why Janesville is known as "Wisconsin's Great Outside." There is plenty to see and do just minutes from the pits:
Rotary Botanical Gardens: A stunning 20-acre oasis featuring 26 themed gardens, including a world-renowned Japanese garden and a peaceful English cottage garden.
Historic Downtown: Walk along the Rock River to see vibrant murals and shop at local favorites like the Bodacious Shops or the Sugar Exchange for a sweet treat.
Lincoln-Tallman House: Step back in time at this historic Italianate mansion where Abraham Lincoln once stayed. It’s a must-visit for history buffs.
The Ice Age Trail: For those looking to stretch their legs, Janesville features over 30 miles of paved and rugged trails, including the scenic Devil's Staircase section of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail.
Local Flavor: Grab a post-race drink at Rock County Brewing Company or enjoy a classic Wisconsin meal at the Drafthouse or Lark in the heart of downtown.
