Nestled in the heart of Neosho, Wisconsin, the Neosho Millpond is a historic and scenic body of water that has played a vital role in the community for generations. Originally formed by the damming of the Rubicon River, the millpond was once a crucial resource for early settlers, powering mills that helped drive local industry. Over time, it has become a beloved recreational spot for fishing, kayaking, and of course, high-adrenaline watercross action!
Great Lakes Watercross has a long-standing connection with the Neosho Millpond, having used it as both a practice site and a race location in past seasons. In 2025, we are thrilled to be making our return—not just for the excitement of competition, but to give back to the community that has hosted us so many times before.
This year, our event will be part of the "Save the Dam" Fundraiser, an effort to help the Village of Neosho secure the necessary funds to repair the aging dam that keeps the millpond alive. Without critical repairs, the future of this cherished waterway is uncertain. We’re coming together with racers, fans, and the local community to ensure that the Neosho Millpond remains a vibrant part of Wisconsin’s landscape for years to come.
Join us for a weekend of high-speed watercross action, community spirit, and a shared commitment to preserving this historic landmark. Let’s race, let’s celebrate, and let’s Save the Dam!
