The park is home to the Fourth Ward neighborhood (before relocation following the flood of 1965), the Villa Louis, the Dousman House, the Dousman Hotel, the Depot, and many more attractions. Within the park, contains Lawler Park, the riverfront, Mississippi River Sculpture Park, St. Feriole Island Ball Park, and President Trees. The Park continues to host annual events including the Prairie Villa Rendezvous, Prairie Dog Blues Fest, Villa Louis Carriage Classic, Mud Run, Oktoberfest and so much more!

Amenities: The park has five reservable picnic shelters, tables, running water, and port-a-potties. The park also has a pristine baseball field and two softball fields located on the far south end of the island. The ball fields are currently used for hosting Prairie du Chien High School, Legion, and Little League baseball and softball games.
