Ryan "Razz" Rasmussen

Race Number:
22

Hometown:

Winthrop Harbor, Illinois

Race Class:
Pro/Am Runabout and Rec-Lites

Years Racing:
My first race was in June of 2017, so it’s been a great 5 years!

How did you get into PWC Racing?:
My daughter Paytin and I used to race Snox, but after I had too many injuries we moved into racing side by sides. Again more injuries sustained in racing the buggies I decided to hang it up. We live close to Lake Michigan and my parents gave me their old 1995 Kawasaki 750SS to ride. We loved the water and enjoyed the warmer weather. After a few year hiatus from racing anything I picked up a Kawasaki X2 and decided to try racing watercross. (Changed my race # from 911 to 22) I came to my first event with Great Lakes Watercross in June of 2017 and have been hooked ever since! As I say “friends and family would much rather sit on the beach and support, than freeze in the snow on frozen bleachers”!

Accomplishments:
First and foremost is the great friendships and sponsors I’ve made along the way. Without them this wouldn’t be possible!
